Blog update - transfer and author issues

Originally this blog was created for me over on a shared google account (brons bratz). The blog was transferred over to an account just for me, but so far the "author" of my first 9 blog posts cannot be changed from brons bratz to Brandon Mitchell, but all of the reviews are mine.

calling all terminator fans

Book: T2 Infiltrator
Author: S.M. Stirling
Published by: EOS

Review: This book starts of a trilogy about Sarah and John Conner and there fight against killer robots from the future ( Terminator's). The story ties in with the well known James Cameron films " The Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" which star Arnold Schwarzenegger , Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton. The first movie is about a terminator , which is sent back in time to kill Sarah Conner and a man named Kyle Reese, sent back to protect Sarah Conner. This book starts were "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" ends having destroyed Cyberdyne, then skips 6 years into the future were Sarah and John are living in Paraguay under secret identities. Sarah owns a truck company called Kreiger trucks. But one day Sarah finely meets her next door neighbour, Dieter von Rossbach. who looks exactly like a terminator! After a while Sarah and Dieter form a friendship. But Sarah suspects he is out to get her. Dieter finds out who she is and decides to help her, after Dieter had a confrontation with a terminator, destroy Cyberdyne, as they have come back and Skynet have sent a terminator to kill Sarah and John . This is a really great book that you can't put down; two books follow, T2 Rising storm and T2 future war , which I have yet to read.

My rating: 5 out of  5
Age Recommendation: 15 years and older
Suggestion: W
atch "The Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" (Directors cut ) before reading this, if you have not seen them.

Bristle face

Book: Bristle Face
Author: Zachary Ball (Kelly Ray Masters)
Published by: Scholastic
Review: This story is about a boy named Jace who runs away from his abusive uncle and finds a dog (which he names Bristle Face), that is really ugly looking, but loyal dog. Jace ends up in a small town and stops at shop called Swanks Store, where he meets a nice, but lazy man by the name of Lute. Lute lets Jase and Bristle Face stay at his place. Everybody who sees Bristle Face says the same thing," He looks more like a porcupine then a dog. But Bristle Face proves himself when danger finds Jace. This is a good book with a really emotional ending.

After that Sam buys a business and goes to Sudan with his business. when he goes there he experiences war there and wants to go and help. He buys a orphanage and builds a church for the children .
My say on the movie : this is a very powerful and emotional movie , even though it skips a few years a third of the way threw without any  notice except the daughters older and has swapped actresses .   Gerard Butler shows he can really act , and so do Michelle Monaghan and Madeline Carroll.. Kaspar: Prince of Cats

Name of book: Kaspar: Prince of Cats
Author: Michael Morpurgo
Illustrator: Michael Foreman
Published in: 2008

Review: This is a book by one of my favourite authors Michael Morpurgo (who usually writes animal stories).

This is a really good book , really emotional and happy. Its about a bell boy (who's name is Johnny trotter) who gets attached to a lady and her cat ( whose name is Kaspar) . After an indecent (which I am not going to spoil) , the boy and the cat befriend a girl ( whose name is Lizziebeth) , who is going to be board the famous ship TITANIC . This book is not too long and is one you just can not put down . I read it in just one day. its one you just can not put down . Its 200 pages but its really enjoyable.

calling all Simpsons fans

name of book : I Cant Believe Its A Bigger And Better Updated Unofficial Simpsons Guide
Authors : Warren Martyn and Adrian Wood
Published in : 2000
This book is an updated version of "I Can't Believe It's an Unofficial Simpsons Guide". Its a guide of all the Simpsons episodes from The Tracey Ullman Show shorts to season 10 of the Simpsons , Plus it has a guide to all the main or reoccurring Simpsons characters and who does there voice , a Simpsons comics guide and a guide to the first season of futurama . In each episode guide (excluding  futurama which only has some ) it has whose in the episode , whose first introduced in each episode , the premise  , trivia (which is good if you don,t catch something in the episode) , homage , (as in references to books , movies and tv shows) , notes for the uneducated , notes for the British and reviews on the episode from the people who wrote the authors (which is put down as "notes") . It also says who is guest staring in the episode. there are a couple of mistakes like the fact that the person who does the voice of snowball II and  Santa 's little helper is Frank Welker but they pronounce it wrong ( they pronounce it as frank weller) . Also keep in mind the books out of date so some things may have changed e.g. it says maggie roswell was due to leave in season 10 but still is doing Simpsons.
